01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners learned counsel for the State.

The Petitioners are seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Tangi P.S. Case No.616 of 2026 pending on the file of the learned Court in seisin for commission of offences punishable under Sections 115(2)/ 117(2)/ 296/ 303(2)/ 351(2)/ 3(5) of BNS, 2023.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that exaggerated allegations have been made regarding the injury. Hence, the Petitioners may be protected by pre-arrest bail.

It is also submitted that there is a counter case i.e. Tangi P.S. Case No.620 of 2026 against the complainants.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for pre-arrest bail inter alia referring to the injury suffered and loss of teeth.

Considering the rival submissions and the background in which the offence has been made in the light of the counter case, it is directed that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the Petitioners shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and proper subject to verification of not more than one criminal antecedent of any nature.

If it comes to the fore that the Petitioners have more than one criminal antecedent of any nature, this order shall not be given effect to. 8. Additionally, it is directed that the Petitioner No.1 (Lika Biswal @ Dillip Kumar Biswal) shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week on such date and time to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin till submission of final form. Certification of such appearance shall be submitted to the learned Court in seisin.

It is further directed that Petitioners shall not in any way try to intimidate the Informant and/or his family.

It shall be open for the Prosecution/Informant to seek variance of this order in the event there is any threat perception.

It is needless to state that the Petitioners shall cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of. U.C.C. as per rules.
