1. The instant writ petition in the nature of Habeas Corpus has

been taken out by the father of a minor girl. On 20^th June, 2025, on the prayer of learned Additional Government Advocate, the matter was posted to today for placing the instructions.

2. Today, Mrs. Suman Pattanayak, learned Additional

Government Advocate (AGA), appearing for the State submits a written instructions before this Court obtained from the IIC, Jamboo

¶20

Marine Police Station, Kendrapara, which is taken on record.

3. Perusal of the said written instructions reveals that the

¶22

minor girl has been rescued by the investigating team and she was

¶23

produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Kendrapara.

Her statement under Section 180 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) has been recorded by the SI, Town PS, Kendrapara, besides statement being recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS. This apart, she has also been examined by Medical Officer. On her consent as well as her parents, she was integrated into her family. It is revealed that the accused has been arrested and is now under judicial custody.

4. Mr. S. Bahadur, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner conceded to the above facts.

5. In view of the above situation, the purpose of filing of the

present case in the nature of Habeas Corpus has been served. Since the minor girl has already been rescued and now she is with her parents, the Court does not think it proper to proceed further with the present matter.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
