Petitioner in this writ petition seeks to assail the auction sale notice dated 24.02.2025 (Annexure-11) issued by Authorised Officer, Punjab National Bank, Sambalpur-Opposite Party No.1.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that in the meantime, the auction has failed. Hence, he submits that the second prayer made in this writ petition with regard to settlement of the loan account may be considered by the Bank. 4. Mr. Biswal, learned counsel for the Punjab National Bank submits that the Bank does not have any OTS scheme at present. The proposal for settlement of the loan account submitted by the Petitioner could not be accepted as it was at the lower side.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner therefore prays for withdrawal of the writ petition to approach the Authorised Officer, Punjab National Bank Opposite Party No.1 for settlement of the loan account with a better offer.

Mr. Biswal, learned counsel for the Punjab National Bank does not have any objection to the same.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with an observation that in the event, the Petitioner approaches the Authorised Officer, Punjab National Bank, Sambalpur with a better offer for settlement of the loan account, the same may be considered in accordance with law.
