2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.

The present batch of Writ Petitions have been filed by the Petitioners inter alia seeking direction to make them eligible to make applications as against the post of Planning Assistant pursuant to the advertisement issued by Odisha Staff Selection Commission on dt.14.11.2022, even though they possess Bachelor in Architect qualification.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the Odisha Staff Selection Commission contended that the issue as to whether Petitioners having Bachelor in Architect qualification can

make their application against the post of Planning Assistant, where the prescribed qualification is Diploma in Architect, has already been settled by this Court in its judgment dt.03.12.2024 in W.P.(C ) No.226 of 2024 and batch, further confirmed in Writ Appeal No.62 of 2025 and batch.

It is contended that in view of the ratio decided in the above noted Writ Petitions so confirmed in the Writ Appeal, the Petitioners in the present batch of Writ Petitions being Bachelor in Architect Degree holders, they are not eligible to make the application pursuant to the advertisement issued on 14.11.2022 for the post of Planning Assistant.

5. Considering the submission, the present batch of Writ Petitions are disposed of in the light of the judgment dt.03.12.2024 passed in W.P.(C ) No.226 of 2024 and batch so confirmed in W.A. No.62 of 2025 and batch.

6 . Interim order passed in all the Writ Petitions stand vacated accordingly.

7 . Photocopy of the order be placed in the connected cases.
