Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioners with the following prayer:

“Under the above circumstances, it is humbly prayed that the writ petition may be allowed; And

¶18

(A) a writ of Certiorari or an appropriate writ may be issued quashing the impugned order dated 17.05.2025 passed by the Tahasildar, Khaira under Annexure:7 and necessary direction may be made to the opposite parties more particularly to the Tahasildar, Khaira -opposite party No.3 to remove the illegal encroachers over the Government land appertaining to Plot No.74 under Khata No. 137 of Mouza: Paikalapur, which is adjacent to the petitioner's house and to demolish the construction raised over the said Government land in terms of the letter dated 06.07.2024 issued by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Odisha in Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Bhubaneswar

At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has filed a representation dated 03.04.2025 vide Annexure-6 before the Opposite Party No.3/Tahasildar, Khaira for redressal of his grievances. The said representation is still pending.

In view of such facts and submission, without going into the merit of the case, the Opposite Party No.3/ Tahasildar, Khaira is directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner vide Annexure-6 by passing a reasoned order within a period of one month from the date of production/presentation of a certified copy of this order.
