The subject matter of this petition is substantially similar to the one in WP(C) No.17761 of 2025 between Sahadev Behera v. State of Odisha and others , which has been disposed of by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 01.09.2025. The order being short, for ease of perusal, is reproduced:

“This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

2. Heard learned counsels of both the sides.

3. Upon hearing from the learned counsels of both the sides, it is felt proper to dispose of this writ petition finally directing the Tahasildar, Kanas(Opposite Party No.2) in the district of Puri to supply the certified copy of the documents as required by the petitioner through application vide C.A. No.901 dated 22.08.2024 within a period of seven days from the date of communication of this order.

4. Registry is directed to communicate the copy of this order immediately to the Tahasildar, Kansas(Opposite Party No.2) immediately and the Tahasildar, Kanas(Opposite Party No.2) is directed to intimate this Court regarding compliance of this order.

5. As such, the writ petition is disposed of finally.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted to the petitioner on proper application”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits and this Court agrees with the same that similar cases should meet the similar fate and therefore, the relief granted to the litigant in the cognate case cannot be denied to the litigant in this case.

In the above circumstances, the relief as has been granted in the cognate petition, is granted to the petitioner in this petition Mutatis Mutandis.

The writ petition is disposed off. Time for compliance is four weeks.
