This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties.

Petitioner has filed the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:-

“Therefore, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly bé pleased to admit this writ petition, and issue notice to the opposite parties to file their show cause as to why the case of the petitioner shall not be allowed and after hearing the parties, the case of the petitioner be allowed and impugned order passed vide Annexure-8 dt04.02.2021 be set aside and order be passed that the petitioner shall be entitled to receive the pension and pensionary benefits as it has been extended in case of other similarly placed employees such as 1) Pitambar Sahoo, 2) Naresu Pradhan, 3) Brundaban Behera, 4) Fanibhusan Das, 5) Sarat Ch. Das, 6) Damodar Sahoo, 7) Radhe Shyam Mohapatra and many others and the arrear dues to that effect be paid to him within a stipulated period.

And/or pass any other order(s) which deems fit and proper for adjudication of the case.

And for this Act of kindness, the petitioner shall be ever prayed.”

Basing on the order passed by this Court on 18.08.2025, learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State fairly contended that the issue involved in the present case is covered by an order passed on 18.11.2022 in W.P.(C) No.29993 of 2022 so confirmed by the Apex Court while dismissing SLP (Civil) Diary No.12669 of 2024 vide order dtd.24.07.2025.

Considering the submissions made, this Court while quashing the impugned order dtd.04.02.2021 so passed by Opposite Party No.1 under Annexure-8, dispose of the Writ Petition in the light of the order dtd.18.11.2022.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
