Heard Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner.

No notices are issued to the opposite parties since the matter is disposed of at the stage of admission considering the limited grievance of the petitioner.

Instant writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking his rehabilitation/resettlement under any Scheme in terms of the Street Venders(Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 for the reasons stated.

Referring to Annexures-1, 2 and 3, Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been evicted followed by a demolition and therefore, his grievance for rehabilitation/ resettlement should be considered and in that regard, a direction may perhaps be issued to opposite party No.1 in the interest of justice.

From Annexure-5, the Court finds that the petitioner was having a Street Vending Certificate since, 2020 and in the meantime, he has been evicted and it was followed by demolition as made to reveal from Annexure-6 series. Since, the limited grievance of the petitioner is seeking resettlement, the Court is of the view that he should be provided an opportunity to move opposite party No.1 with a representation for a decision thereon within a stipulated period as the same would serve the purpose and meet the ends of justice.

6. Accordingly, it is ordered.

In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of with the liberty granted in favour of the petitioner to submit a representation addressed to opposite party No.1 and in the event, the same is received within seven days from today, it shall be considered and disposed of according to law at the earliest preferably within next two weeks days.
