1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Order dated 29^th August, 2025 of Mediation Proceeding discloses that none of the parties appeared before learned Mediator inspite of his best efforts. Hence, the Mediation Proceeding was closed.

The Petitioners have prayed for the following relief in the writ petition:

“ It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that your Lordships may graciously be pleased to admit this writ application and issue Rule NISI to the opp. parties calling upon them to show cause as to why they shall not be directed to grant compensation and provide lands for re-settlement and rehabilitation as per the RFCTLAR & R Act, 2013 and also R & R Policy, 2006 before demolition of the dwelling houses of the petitioners within a stipulated period;

And on their failing to show cause or showing insufficient cause, the said Rule be made absolute;

And pass such further order(s) as may be deemed fit and proper.

And for this act of kindness the petitioners shall, as in duty bound ever pray.”
