The short grievance of the petitioner is as to nonconsideration of his representation and also villagers’ representation for taking action in terms of the enquiry report that found certain illegalities or irregularities in Mahubazardandi Anganwadi Centre at Mahubazardandi in the district of Kendrapara.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his children also studying in the said Anganwadi Centre and therefore, he is genuinely interested in cleansing the system at least in terms of the recommendations made in the inquiry report. The representations have not met their consideration at the hands of powers that be and therefore, this Court should intervene in the matter.

Learned AGA, accepting notice for the O.Ps., opposes the petition contending that it is in a nature of social

action litigation and therefore, the petitioner should be relegated to the PIL Court. Having so contended, now, in all fairness, he agrees with the suggestion of this Court that he should instruct the officials to look into the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law and in a time bound period. He requests the Court to keep all contentions of the parties open. With this proposal, learned counsel for the petitioner is agreeable.

In the above circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of fixing a period of eight weeks for grant redressal to the subject representation and informing the result of such consideration to the petitioner. All contentions are kept open.

It is open to the answering opposite parties to solicit any information or documents from the side of the Petitioner, as required for taking a decision on the subject representation. However, in that guise delay shall not be brooked.
