Grievance of the Petitioner in this writ application is with regard to inaction of the Tahasildar, Darpan in considering their objection in De-reservation Case No.5 of 2024 pending before him.

On instruction, Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that objections have been filed by former sarpanch of Badaghumuri Gram Panchayat and one Akshaya Kumar Routray, Sarpanch of Badaghumuri Gram Panchayat. The petitioners did not file any objection in the De-reservation Case No. 5 of 2024. However, notices have been issued to the petitioners to appear on 22^nd July, 2025 to which date the De-reservation Case is posted and to participate in the hearing.

Hence, this Court without delving into the merit of the Dereservation Case No.5 of 2024 and objections, if any, filed therein, disposes of the writ petition with a direction that in the event the petitioners appear on 22^nd July, 2025 before Tahasildar, Darpan and file their objection, the same shall be received and the Dereservation Case No.5 of 2024 shall be disposed of taking into the consideration all the objections filed by the objectors including that of the petitioners and providing all of them opportunity of hearing, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months therefrom.
