The petitioners have filed this Writ Petition praying as

“1. Why the opposite parties will not be directed to settle the case land in respect of Hal plot 306/840(P) Ac.0.33 decs under Hal khata 395 of Mouza-Ramanagar, Tahasil/P.S.-Mahakalapara, Dist-Kendrapara in favour of the petitioners by changing the Kisam from Jungle Jhati to Sarad-2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the petitioners have already submitted prescribed form/application vide Annexure-2 before the opposite party No.3 for settlement of land in their favour and the same may be directed to be disposed of within stipulated period. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to such submission.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the Writ Petition directing the Tahasildar, Mahakalapara, Kendrapara, opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioners vide Annexure-2 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioners within two weeks of taking the decision.
