Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties. Perused the writ application as well as documents annexed thereto.

The Petitioner has filed the present writ application with the following prayer:

“The petitioner, therefore, most respectfully prays that your Lordship may graciously be pleased to admit this writ application and issue Rule NISI to the OPs to show cause as to why the impugned order dtd. 18.03.25 in annexure-9 shall not be quashed;

And on their failing to show cause or showing insufficient cause, issue a writ of certiorari quashing the impugned order dtd.18.03.25 in annexure-9;

And further a writ in the nature of mandamus or any appropriate writ be issued directing the OPs-Corporation to re-allot quarters No.3RA-2/l in RHS colony in favour of the petitioner as per the scheme of the Corporation; And pass such further orders as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

In course of hearing of the writ application, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner ventilating his grievance has submitted representation before the Managing Director, Odisha Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd., Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.3 under Annexure-10. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the said representation is pending as of now. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-10 within a stipulated period of time.

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he has no objection if the representation of the Petitioner is considered by the Opposite Party No.3, which is stated to be pending, in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party No.3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-10 dated 25.03.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.3 shall do well to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-10 by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken by the Opposite Party No.3 be also communicated to the Petitioner within ten days

thereafter. It is further directed that every endeavour shall be made to dispose of the application of the petitioner before any further allotment of quarters to the employees.
