Petition prayer reads as under:

“Under the above circumstance, it is therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order by directing the party no.5 to handover the college records taken away by her and kept with her, in terms of the direction of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(C) No.491 of 2024 dated 12.01.2024 and in terms of the observation made by opposite party no.2 in his order dated 26.12.2023.

And this Hon'ble Court be further pleased to direct the opposite party nos.2, 3, 4 and 6 to restrain the opposite party no.5 from discharging her duty till she submits the college records taken away with her, in obedience to the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 12.01.2024. And this Hon'ble Court be pleased to pass any further order/order or direction/directions as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner points out paragarphs-11 & 12 of the affidavit filed by OP No.6, which read as under:

“11.That, the deponent also requested the Hon'ble President to counter sign the proposal for reconstitution of Governing Body but the Hon'ble President out of tremendous office work pressure could not counter sign the proposal but the present deponent vide letter dt: 04.02.2025 submitted the proposal for approval of re-constitution of Governing Body. The copy of the letter no. 114/2025 dt: 04.02.2025 of the deponent is annexed herewith as Annexure-1/6 .

That, on inquiry the deponent came to know that the proposal submitted by the deponent for reconstitution of Governing Body without counter signature of the President was not accepted by Director, so again the deponent move to the President for his counter signature and after obtaining the counter signature of the Sub-Collector-Cum-President, the deponent re-submitted proposal again before the Director for approval of reconstitution of Governing Body which is pending before the Director. The copy of the letter no. 173/2025 dt: 24.11.2025 is annexed herewith as Annexure-J/6 .”

There is unanimity at the Bar that petition can be disposed off with a direction to OP No.2 to take a decision on the proposal for approval of the Governing Body within a period of six weeks.

Ordered accordingly and writ petition is disposed off. Now, no costs.
