1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the Private-Opposite Party.

3. The present application has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. thereby invoking the inherent power of this Court to quash order dated 18.11.2023 passed in Criminal Revision No.08 of 2023 by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Puri.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset contended that in the meantime the petitioner has filed a civil suit bearing C.S. No.170 of 2023 before the learned Senior Civil Judge, Puri and now the same is pending before the 2^nd

Addl. Senior Division, Puri. In the aforesaid suit he has also filed an I.A. bearing I.A. No.74 of 2023 under Order 39 Rule 1 & 2 C.P.C., in which the learned Senior Civil Judge, Puri has passed an order granting status quo. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that although the order of status quo is continuing however, the same is objected to by the learned counsel for the Private-Opposite Parties that the status quo order is not continuing. Without entering to the aforesaid dispute, this Court deems it proper to dispose of the application with an observation that for finding in the 144 proceeding shall not in any way influence the trial court while deciding the dispute involved in C.S. No.170 of 2023.

5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the CRLMC stands disposed of.
