This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

It is complained by Mr. Krishna Chandra Sahu, learned counsel for the Petitioner that order dated 10.11.2023 passed in WPC (OAC) No.634 of 2017 by this Court, copy of which has been received by the Opposite Party/Contemnor on 06.12.2023 as indicated in Annexuer-1, no result/decision has not yet been communicated to the Petitioner.

At this stage, Mr. Dayanidhi Lenka, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the Opposite Party/Contemnor furnished instruction as received in letter bearing No.77/E dated 18.01.2024 issued by Superintendent of Police, Kenojhar, which indicates as follows:-

“with reference to the above W.P.C(OA) on the subject cited above a committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Shri Atko Kujur, OPS-1, Addl. S.P. Barbil at Dist Hdqrs., Keonjhar. The committee members have scrutinized your relevant records along with Original Service Book for realization of the

eligibility to get financial benefits as per rule. After due scrutiny, the committee has submitted its findings and they opined that, there is no merit to provide any financial benefits in your favour. Hence your representation is hereby rejected by the competent authority being devoid of merit.

Hence the copy of proceeding by the Committee members is enclosed herewith for your information.”

Copy of the letter dated 18.01.2024 issued by Superintendent of Police, Keonjhar as furnished by Mr. Dayanidhi Lenka, learned Additional Government Advocate is taken on record.

Faced with the aforesaid situation, no case is made out for proceeding in Contempt Petition. Hence, the contempt petition stands disposed of.
