This contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 14.11.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No.27903 of 2024. The operative part of the order reads as follows:

“In view of the limited nature of grievance, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the stand taken by the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition directing Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar, opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the petition filed by the petitioner under Annexure-2 within a period of three months in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of fifteen days thereafter.”
