Mr. Lalatendu Samal, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner complained that the direction contained in order dated 02.09.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No.24246 of 2021 was not complied with, as such, the same is brought to the notice of this Court in the contempt petition.

Pursuant to order dated 05.02.2025 passed in the present contempt petition, it is submitted by Mr. Jayant Kumar Bal, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the Opposite Party/Contemnor that vide Office Order No.4043/I & PR, dated 05.03.2025 has been issued by the Additional Secretary to Government, which is to the following effect:-

In Pursuance of Point-5(2) of Resolution No.5073, dated 13.02.2025 of Finance Department, the following employees of this Department are allowed to draw higher Grade Pay of the promotional cadre (Odisha Information Service) on sanction of RACP retrospectively as due after 01.01.2013 and their pay will be subsequently revised after recommendation of respective Screening Committee by following due procedure.
