2 . The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a

direction from this Court to the Opposite Party No.2/Branch Manager, UCO Bank, Gondia, Dhenkanal to settle the loan account by issuing closure certificate. He further seeks a direction from this Court to the Opposite Party No.2/Branch Manager, UCO Bank, Gondia, Dhenkanal to refund the excessive amount of Rs.15,000/taken from the Petitioner by the Opposite Party No.2/Branch Manager, UCO Bank, Gondia, Dhenkanal.

3 . Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

4 . Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had applied for a loan under Kisan Credit Card Scheme before the Opposite Parties/UCO Bank. A loan amount of Rs.23,000/- was sanctioned in favour of the Petitioner after the document verification on 24.09.2013. However, the Petitioner could not repay the loan due to some difficulty. On 09.09.2023 learned Lok Adalat of Dhenkanal issued a notice to the Petitioner for payment of Rs.26,388/- in total with interest which is due upon the Petitioner. After receiving such notice, on 11.09.2023 the Petitioner had deposited the entire loan amount of Rs.26,500/- more than the loan amount. However, the Opposite Parties/UCO Bank warned the Petitioner to pay a further amount of Rs.15,000/- to improve the CIBIL Score. The Petitioner without getting any alteration paid the said demanded amount on 16.01.2024. Despite the payment of the excessive amount of Rs.15,000/- the Opposite Party No.2/Brnach Manager, UCO Bank, Dhenkanal further demanding a sum of Rs.27,000/- for closure of the loan account. Hence, the Petitioner is constrained to approach this Court.

5. Learned counsel for the Opposite Party No.2/Branch Manager, UCO Bank, Gondia, Dhenkanal submits that the he has already settled the loan account of the Petitioner.

6. Without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Petitioner to approach the Opposite Parties/UCO Bank seeking redressal of his grievance and the Opposite Parties/UCO Bank shall consider the grievance of the present Petitioner in accordance with law.
