Heard Mr. B. Routray, learned Senior Advocate for the Petitioners as well as Mr. S.K. Jena, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties.

The Petitioners, who are serving as Assistant Professor in Government College of Engineering, Keonjhar have claimed for payment of differential remuneration in terms of the Notification dated 2^nd December 2014 of Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT). It is further submitted that, some similarly situated employees had earlier approached this Court with similar prayer and by virtue of the order of this Court, such benefits have been granted in their favour by the authorities. It is further submitted that, a representation of the Petitioners in this regard is pending with the authority.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the contentions of the Petitioners, with a direction to the Principal, Government College of Engineering, Keonjhar
