1 . This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. In filing this Writ Petition, the Petitioner claiming himself to

be an erstwhile student of the Subash Institute of Technology, Baranga/ Opposite Party No.2, has sought for a direction from this Court to the Manager (I/C), Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., Bhubaneswar/ Opposite Party No.3 for releasing the proceeds of the insurance policy for the period from 2^nd August, 2012 to 5^th September, 2012, in his favour as per the order dated 27.04.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.1112 of 2014 and the order dated 08.02.2024 passed in W.A. No.813 of 2022.

3. During course of hearing, despite repeated queries of this Court, learned counsel for the Petitioner failed to submit any scrap of paper relating to the insurance policy, against which the Petitioner has made his claim.

4. The Petitioner cannot take advantage of the insurance policy upon showing some proposed insurance policy, which the Engineering College had promised in the prospectus. Unless the insurance policy is taken by the College and the policy card is issued to the Petitioner by the Insurance Company, the Petitioner cannot claim any insurance benefit.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that the Petitioner is not entitled to get any relief.

6. This Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
