The application for bail of the appellant h as been rejected by the learned Addl. Session Judge, Kujang as per order dated 20.01.2024.

In view of the 164 Cr.P.C. statement of t h e victim and the nature and gravity of the accusation, I am not inclined to rele a se the appellant on bail. How e ver, the appellant is at liberty to renew the prayer for b ail after examination of the victim in the learned trial C o urt. The learned trial Court shall do well to expedite th e framing of charge and t ake steps for examination of t h e victim at the first inst a nce.
