1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Apprehending arrest in connection with a case in which the petitioner has been issued with a notice under Section 35(3) of B.N.S.S., the petitioner has approached this Court for grant of transit anticipatory bail. On perusal of the notice issued to the petitioner under Annexure-1 to the bail application it appears that the Office of the Narcotic Squad, New Delhi has issued the notice to the petitioner for his appearance before the Police Officer under Section 35(3) of B.N.S.S., 2023. Further, the contents of the notice reveal that the petitioner has been requested to participate in the investigation of the offences in connection with F.I.R. No.80078769 of 2024 under Section 380 of the I.P.C. The said notice further reveals that there is a reasonable suspicion that the petitioner has either committed or is involved in the said offence.

Considering the gravity and seriousness of the offence alleged,

the petitioner is granted transit bail for a period of four weeks within which time the petitioner shall surrender before the Competent Court having jurisdiction over the matter and move an application for regular bail. The interim protection shall remain valid for a period of four weeks or up till the petitioner surrenders before the Court having jurisdiction of the matter.

With the aforesaid observation direction the ABLAPL is disposed of.
