1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).
2. Mr. D. Nayak, learned Addl. Government advocate has produced the status report dated 04.04.2023 which he has received from the IIC, Patamundai Police Station.
It appears from the said report that on 31.03.2023 the police has rescued the victim from the house of her relative in village Narasinghpur under Basudevpur Police Station. Later on, her statement has been recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C.
3. When the victim was produced before the Juridical Magistrate First Class, Basudevpur, Bhadrak, the victim who is now major denied to return home with her parents. After recording of the victim’s statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C at the option of the victim she has been lodged in a hostel.

4. The victim had clearly stated before the Judicial Magistrate that she would not go with her parents nor would she go with her husband.
5. In view of the above development, this writ petition stands closed as infructuous.
6. Mr. A.K. Ray, learned counsel has appeared for the petitioner.
7. The status report dated 04.04.2023 and its enclosure, as produced by Mr. Nayak, learned Addl. Government Advocate, is taken on record for future reference.
