1. Sixty-four street vendors functioning as such at Shree Lokanath Vending Zone, Stewart School, Unit-8 Bhubaneswar filed the present petition way back on 28^th August, 2014 for directions to the Opposite Parties to implement the Odisha Urban Street Vendors Policy, 2012 and not to evict the Petitioners from the said vending zone.

While issuing notice in the petition on 3^rd September, 2014 this Court directed status quo to be maintained by the parties. That order has continued till date. None of the Opposite Parties, i.e., Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has filed a reply.

Today learned Counsel for the Petitioners has handed over an affidavit dated 10^th January, 2023 of Petitioner No.30 on behalf of all the Petitioners placing on record copies of the trade license and

vendor identity cards issued to each of the Petitioners during the pendency of the writ petition.

In that view of the matter, the learned counsel for the Petitioners states that the Petitioners will again approach the BMC for appropriate directions as and when any fresh cause of action arises.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
