CORAM: JUSTICE S.K. SAHOO ORDER 12.04.2023 This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). This criminal appeal has been filed by the appellants Sekhar Prasad Yadav and Daya Sagar Yadav challenging the impugned judgment and order dated 28.06.2018 passed by the learned Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, Kandhamal, Phulbani in G.R. Case No.18 of 2016 which arises out of Phiringia P.S. Case No.17 dated 14.02.2016 in which the appellants were found guilty under section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act and sentenced to undergo R.I. for a period of fifteen years and to pay a fine of Rs.2,00,000/- (rupees two lakhs) each, in default, to undergo further R.I. for a period of two years each.

It appears that the appellant no.1 Sekhar Prasad Yadav has filed another criminal appeal i.e. CRLA No.550 of 2018 challenging the self-same impugned judgment and order of conviction and appellant no.2 Daya Sagar Yadav has filed CRLA No.82 of 2019 challenging the self-same impugned judgment and order of conviction.
In that view of the matter, this CRLA stands disposed of.
