The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Bolagarh P.S. Case No. 156 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 641 of 2023 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., (COG), Khurda for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 498A/294/323/326/506 of IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is present. There is no appearance from the side of the informant– opposite party No.2. On the last occasion also there was no appearance. Hence, the anticipatory bail application is taken up for hearing on its own merit.

Having regard to the nature of accusations and the materials on record, while not being inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, the ABLAPL is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court below within two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and to move for bail. In such event, he shall be released on bail on such terms and condition as the court below may deem fit and proper to impose.
