The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to inaction of authorities under TPCODL to shift the electricity connection from his old residence to the new building constructed by him.

It is submitted by Mr. Mukharjee, learned counsel that although the Petitioner has deposited the charges for shifting of the meter for power supply to his new building, but the authorities under TPCODL are insisting upon depositing the cost of three poles for drawal of conductor. It is further submitted that the distance between from the old building to the new building is only fifty meters. Thus, three poles as demanded by the authorities under TPCODL is unjustified. He, however, submits that the Petitioner is ready to deposit the cost of two poles for drawal of power supply to his newly constructed building.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that in the event the Petitioner approaches the

authorities with his proposal, the same may be considered in accordance with law.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
