This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer for disposal of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.05.2022 under Annexure-10 for extension of time up to 31^st March, 2023 to complete the balance work i.e. Construction of H.L. Bridge over River Devi on Khandasahi, Talada Road in the district of Puri as per clause 3.5.30 of OPWD Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the said representation has not yet been considered and the concerned authority may be directed to consider the

same after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the prayer made in the writ petition regarding disposal of representation.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties and in view of the limited nature of grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the opposite party no.1 Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department to consider the representation dated 24.05.2022 of the petitioner as per Annexure-10 and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of the order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. Till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.

The opposite party no.1 shall act upon the certified copy of the order produced before him with the copy of the writ petition.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
