Heard Mr. Dilip Kumar Sahu, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mrs. Saswata Pattanaik, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State – Opposite Parties.

By way of the present petition the Petitioner has prayed for transfer of the Original Application No.186(C) of 2015 from the Office of State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack to this Court.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that as the Tribunal has been abolished in the meantime, the Petitioner has no other remedy than to approach this Court and hence it is prayed that, in the interests of justice, the said Original Application (OA) may be directed to be transferred.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the Petitioner, the prayer for transfer of the case record is allowed.

The Petitioner is permitted to move an application before the Registry of the Tribunal along with downloaded copy of this order for transfer of the case records in the OA to this Court. If such an application is moved, the case records be transferred expeditiously.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.

As the restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25^th March, 2020.
