Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.

The petitioner, being, a victim of rape, seeks payment of compensation from the appropriate Government. 4. It is submitted by Mr. R.P. Mohapatra, learned Additional Government Advocate that the petitioner should file a petition before the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Jharsuguda- Opp. Party No.4 for redressal of her grievance.

Regard being had to the facts and submissions and the nature of relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to file a petition for compensation before the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Jharsuguda- Opp. Party No.4, within a period of three weeks from today. If such a petition is filed before the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, JharsugudaOpp. Party No.4, the same shall be processed in accordance with law from the date of its filing and action shall be taken for payment of compensation to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed
of.
