Heard Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate through video conferencing mode.

According to Mr. Nayak, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in extending her the benefit under Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar though she has been found eligible at Sl. No.45 as per list prepared on 06.07.2020 under Annexure-4 series by the Block Development Officer, Khaira, Assistant Executive Engineer, Khaira, Assistant Engineer, Khaira and Assistant Labour Commissioner, Balasore. He further submits that though such inaction, the petitioner has filed a grievance petition on 24.11.2020 under Annexure-1 before the Collector and District Magistrate,

Balasore (opposite party no.2) but till date no decision has been taken on the same. In such background, he prays that a direction may be issued to the said opposite party to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Collector and District Magistrate, Balasore (opposite party no.2) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition of the petitioner under Annexure-1 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
