This writ petition challenges issuance of a fresh tender call notice (TCN) dated 8th January, 2021 by the Opposite Party-State Bank of India for hiring 20 KVA one phase diesel generator for the use at its Ramnagar Branch.
The grievance of the Petitioner is that he is providing such service by supplying 20 KVA one phase diesel generator on monthly rent basis since 2003. However, without any reason, the Opposite Party-Bank is going for a fresh tender.
The Petitioner cannot insist that the Bank should avail such a generator set only from the Petitioner. There is nothing wrong in the Bank floating a fresh TCN for the above purpose. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
