The matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
Considering the submissions and on going through the nature of accusations; further keeping in view the surrounding circumstances of the case as also concerning the Petitioners and in the absence of any other impediment, it is directed that in the event the Petitioners surrender before the court in seisin of Penthakata Marine P.S. Case No. 37 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2126 of 2018 pending on the file of learned S.D.J.M., Puri within three weeks hence and move for their release on bail, they shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the said court.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court’s website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court’s Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021.
