This matter is taken up through video conferencing

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
It appears that the petitioner had earlier approached this Court in ABLAPL No.1817 of 2019, which was disposed of on 7.3.2019 giving liberty to the petitioner to surrender and move for bail. The petitioner without complying with the said order has again approached Court by filing this application for his release on prearrest bail suppressing the said facts.
In view of the aforesaid fact, the prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
As the restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020.
