Heard Mr. N. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Miss Samapika Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-opposite parties.
The petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a direction to the Tahasildar, Vyasanagar-opposite party no.3 to demarcate the Hal Khata Nos.347, 549, 578, Hal Plot Nos.2290, 2291, 2292, 2293, 2294, 2249, 2287 and 2145 of Mouza-Badabiruan under Vyasanagar Tahasil in the district of Jajpur by co-relating to the Hal and Sabik Map.
Miss Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State referring to Annexure-3 submits that there appears some discrepancies in the area of the plots in Hal and Sabik settlement. Hence, the Tahasildar, Vyasanagar is not in a position to demarcate the land, which is beyond his jurisdiction. He, however, in his letter dated 08.10.2020 (Annexure-3) to the petitioner indicated that if she wishes for demarcation of the land as per the Hal R.O.R., then she should appear before him with all relevant documents on 15.10.2020.
Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let a direction be issued to the Tahasildar, Vyasanagar-opposite party no.3 to measure and demarcate the land in question as per the Hal records.
In that that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that if the petitioner appears on 24.12.2020 before the Tahasildar, Vyasanagar-opposite

party no.3 as suggested by Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and files an application before the Tahasildar, Vyasanagar-opposite party no.3 intimating him for measurement and demarcation of the land in question as per the Hal records, the same shall be done as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of appearance and filing of such application, giving notice to the petitioner as well as boundary tenants;
Authenticated copy of this order downloaded from the website of this Court shall be treated at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed in this Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
