Heard Mr. S. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.Subrat Satpathy, learned counsel for the opp. party No.2-Sri Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri and Mrs. Suman Pattnaik, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State-opposite party Nos. 1, 3 and 4.
The petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to record the schedule land pertaining to Plot Nos. 80 and 81 under Khata No. 35/215 total measuring area of Ac.0.025 decimals out of Ac.0.357 decimals of mouzaMatitota in the district of Puri in his name by disposing of Sale Case No.118 of 2011 pending before the Puri District Level Land Sub Committee within stipulated time.
It is submitted by Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner that although a proposal for sale of the aforesaid schedule land in favour of the petitioner is pending before the Puri District Level Land Sub- Committee being headed by the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Puri since 2018, he has not taken any tangible step for early disposal of the same for which the petitioner is apprehending eviction from the schedule land at any movement. He, therefore, prays for the aforesaid relief.
Mr. Satpathy, learned counsel for the opp. party no.2-Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri, on instruction, submits that since the matter is pending before the Puri District Level Land Sub- Committee, it should take decision at the earliest in the interest of justice.

Mrs. Pattnaik, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State also submits that since Sale Case No.118 of 2011 is still pending before the Puri District Level Land Sub- Committee, a direction may be made for disposal of the same in accordance with law.
Taking into consideration the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case disposes of the writ petition with a direction to dispose of Sale Case No. 118 of 2011 stated to be pending before the Puri District Level Land Sub- Committee, being headed by the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Puri-opp. party no.3, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of an authenticated copy of this order, giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.
Authenticated copy of this order downloaded from the website of this Court shall be treated at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed in this Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
