The petitioner has filed this writ
application on the apprehension that he may be evicted from the mobile vending shop, he was allotted inside Baramunda Bus Stand, Bhubaneswar vide Annexure- 1, on the ground that, 18 such notices of eviction have been issued in favour of different vendors.
Admittedly, the petitioner has not been in receipt of any notice for eviction.
Regard being had to the facts and submissions and Sections- 13, 18 & other provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014, we dispose of the writ application with observation that, in case, the petitioner is evicted, the provisions of Sections13 & 18 of the aforesaid Act shall be followed and adequate opportunity shall be given to the petitioner for relocation, if any.
It is further clarified that, if any cause of action arises for the petitioner, the petitioner is at liberty to move this Court.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ application is disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this Order be granted as per rules.
