Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Petitioner, in this writ petition, prays for a direction to opposite parties to grant grade pay of Rs.4,600/- with effect from 01.01.2013 along with all differential (HRA) etc. with yearly periodical increments including pensionary benefits.

In the above regard, petitioner has made a representation dated 20.02.2020 (Annexure-4) to the Director of Fisheries Odisha, Cuttack (OP No.3), which is still pending. Therefore, he prays for a direction for early disposal of the said representation and to grant him grade pay of Rs.4,600/- with effect from 01.01.2013 along with all differential (HRA) etc. with yearly periodical increments including pensionary benefits.

Mr.Bibhu Prasad Tripathy, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he has no instruction with regard to status of representation stated to be pending before opposite party No.3. He further submits that if such a representation is still pending, the same may be directed to be disposed of in accordance with law.

Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and in view of pendency of representation of the petitioner before the opposite party No.3, this Court without delving into merits of

the case of the petitioner, disposes of the writ petition with the direction that the opposite party No.3 shall dispose of the representation dated 20.02.2020 (Annexure-4) of the petitioner on its own merit, which is stated to have been filed and pending before him, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of an authenticated copy of this order downloaded from the website of this Court, which shall be treated at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed in this Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
