The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though he had sought for a detail information through RTI with regard to the construction of Rehabilitation and Up-gradation of existing 2 lane to 4 lane road of NH-215 from Koida to Rajmunda in the State of Odisha, the authority concerned did not supply the information under the said Act within the statutory period and for that, he preferred an appeal before the 1st Appellate Authority, on which, the 1st Appellate Authority had given certain direction to supply the information to the petitioner with a liberty to approach the 1st Appellate Authority in the event of noncompliance of its direction. Since the direction by the 1st Appellate Authority was not complied with, the petitioner made

a reminder on 8.5.2020 vide Annexure-3 and a representation to the 1st Appellate Authority vide Annexure-4 but the same having not been disposed of, he has come to this Court seeking direction for disposal of the same.
Considering the fact that an application of protest has been filed as directed by the 1st appellate authority, the 1st Appellate Authority shall take a decision on the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months of receipt of copy of this order and intimate the decision thereof to the petitioner.
With the aforesaid order, the writ petition is disposed of.
