The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to appoint him as a class-IV employee in the department of school and mass education.
It is contended that the case of the petitioner has already recommended by the District Education Officer, Puri to the Addl. Secretary to Govt. Department of School and Mass Education under Annexure-3 dated 27.10.2017, which is still pending.
Mr. D. Varadwaj, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department contended that if the matter is still pending, direction may be given to consider the same in accordance with law.
Considering the contention raised by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of directing opposite party no.1 to consider the grievance of the petitioner in pursuance of the letter issued by the District Education Officer, Puri addressed to the Addl. Secretary to Govt. Department of School and Mass
Education vide Annexure-3 dated 27.10.2017 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified/authenticated copy of this order.
