This is an appeal under section 14-A of S.C. & S.T. (POA) Act, 1989 in connection with Special Case No.32 of 2019 arising out of Telkoi P.S. Case No.176 of 2019 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, Keonjhar for offences punishable under sections 376/506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(1)(r)(s) of the SC & ST (POA) Act.
The appellant moved an application for bail before the Court of learned Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, Keonjhar which was rejected on 18.01.2020.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the notice has been made sufficient on the informant.
Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant is in judicial custody since 09.12.2019 and charge sheet has already been submitted under sections 376/506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(1)(r)(s) of the SC & ST (POA) Act and after hearing the learned counsel for the State who placed the statement of the victim, I am inclined to

release the appellant on bail.
Let the appellant be released on bail in the aforesaid case on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000.00 (rupees twenty thousand) with two solvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court in seisin over the matter with further terms and conditions as the learned Court may deem just and proper.
Accordingly, the CRLA is disposed of.
