Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned A.G.A. for the State-opposite party.
The petitioner is inside custody since 04.01.2020.
It is submitted by learned A.G.A. that the petitioner
has number of criminal antecedents.
However, considering the nature of offence and the period of detention of the petitioner inside custody, it is directed to release him on bail in connection with Darghabazar P.S. Case No.116/2019 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1966/2019 on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned S.D.J.M.(Sadar), Cuttack as he deems just and proper including the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the IIC, Darghabazar P.S. once in each week till conclusion of trial and shall not be involved in any other offences while on bail. It is made clear that violation of any of the conditions as fixed by this Court or by the court below shall entail cancellation of his bail.
BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
