In the wake of the Pandemic Covid-19, the case is taken up through Video Conferencing.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The aforesaid Interim Application has been filed by the petitioner for his release on interim bail in T.R. Case No.111 of 2019, arising out of Orkel P.S. Case No.141 of 2019, pending in the Court of the Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri, on the ground of illness of his father.
Heard.
Regard being had to the facts and submissions made, especially the nature and gravity of the offence alleged, punishment provided and also the ground on which the petitioner seeks interim bail, I am not inclined to entertain the prayer, more so when his abscondance on release on interim bail is not ruled out. Hence, his prayer for interim bail stands rejected.

So far as the prayer for regular bail is concerned, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press this bail application.
Considering the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this bail application stands dismissed as not pressed.
