Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Counsel for the State.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are languishing in jail custody in a false case since 8.9.2018.
Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that Charge-sheet was filed on 18.1.2019.
Considering the nature of allegation, quantity of seized ganja and chance of absconding, I am not inclined to grant bail to the present petitioners. Prayer for bail stands rejected.
Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the trial court is directed to speed up the trial for early completion as per the guidelines given by the Hon’ble Apex Court in case of Hussain & Anr. v. Union of India reported in 2017 (5) SCC-702.
