20.03.2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate.

The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that he has supplied the spare parts of the Tube Wells (Hand Pump) to the respective Grama Panchayats in the district of Jagatsinghpur as per the purchase order dated 08.03.2016 issued by the Block Development Officer, Biridi. Thereafter he has submitted his bills before the Sarpanch, Baredia Grama Panchayat amounting a sum of Rs.59,989/- on 06.04.2016. As no action was taken, he has made representations before the Sarpanch, Baredia Grama Panchayat and Executive Officer, Baredia Grama Panchayat on 26.06.2018 with a prayer to clear the bills. He has also made a representation before the Collector, Jagatsinghpur – opposite party No.1 on 29.06.2018. However, no action has been taken till date for payment of his bills. Hence the Writ Petition.

Considering the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court disposes of this Writ Petition with a direction to the Collector, Jagatsinghpur – opposite party No.1 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2018 under Annexure: 4 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. For convenience of the parties, let the petitioner appear before opposite party No.1 on or before 08.04.2019 and produce all relevant documents in support of his claim.
