The defect as pointed out by the S.R. be ignored. Heard Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Pani, learned Additional Standing Counsel.

According to Mr. Mohanty, the grievance of the petitioners in this case pertains to inaction of the authorities in granting necessary assistance to the petitioners so as to enable them to construct houses under Mo Kudia Yojana/Biju Pucca Ghara Yojana.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the petitioners have moved the authorities earlier, liberty may be granted to the petitioners to approach the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Cuttack (opposite party No.3) in the matter afresh and he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take decision on the same within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioners to file individual representation before opposite party No.3 within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such representations are filed, the opposite party No.3 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representations.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
