Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Since it is an old case of the year 1999, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has no instruction in the matter and as such in the mean time 20 years have elapsed and by efflux of time the writ application has become infructuous. He, however, states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum, in the event any cause of action still survives.
The writ petition is thus disposed of with liberty as aforesaid.
