The petitioner being in custody in Mathili P.S. No. 77 of 2019 corresponding to T.R. Case No.45 of 2019 on the file of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri for alleged commission of offence under section 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act, has filed this application under section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for his release on bail.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
Considering the submission and keeping in view the nature of accusation against the petitioner as those emanate from the materials available on record, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
The BLAPL stands dismissed.
