In view of the provision under section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 as amended by Amendment Act, 2015 and the decision of the Full Bench of Allahabad High Court in case of In re Provision of Section 14A of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 -Vrs.- Nil reported in 2018 Criminal Law Journal 5010 (FB) , I am inclined to accept the prayer made by the petitioner in this interim application.
Therefore, the registry is directed to re-register this bail application as Criminal Appeal and place the matter before the assigned Bench.
